And yet more about hybrid vehicles

I just can't resist a further comment: I could take two Civic Hybrids, pound them down with a sledge hammer to a size that would fit comfortably in the back of my Dodge pickup truck with the Cummins diesel engine, seat the 8 or so people the two Civics would hold in the cab and on top of the pounded-down cars, and still get 22 miles per gallon. Of seventy-cents-per-gallon homebrew biodiesel.
Now, THAT'S efficiency.
