The Turtle Man
Sheesh! No thanks. Those things are good eating, but personally, I'll use a trap. I know two easy-to-build trap designs that work well and don't involve wading amongst those monsters, not to mention the cottonmouth moccasins.

The these methods are interesting. But of course its also a great way to get seriously injured, which in a long term survival situation is not a good idea.
You got that right! Especially when you can make a simple trap from a 55 gallon drum, that will catch them all day long.
